  • Aviation Hoses

Aerospace hose, piping and tubing solutions include elastomeric, PTFE, metal tube and flexible hose combination assemblies for medium- to high-pressure fluid conveyance in demanding fuel, oil and hydraulic aerospace systems as well as composite ducting that ensures the smooth transfer of onboard waste-tank contents to ground service receptacles.

Aerospace fluid systems demand hose assemblies that perform well under pressure and provide years of reliable service. Our PTFE hose assemblies are constructed with seamless, smooth-bore inner tubes for maximum flow and include a thin layer of carbon to eliminate static charge buildup.  Braided with stainless steel for durability and wear resistance, Stratoflex Products PTFE materials are designed to withstand all aircraft fuel, oil, coolants, and solvents. In addition, they feature an unlimited shelf life. Backed by years of aerospace engineering experience and design capabilities, our PTFE hoses will provide the performance you need with the reliability you expect.

    • This hose type has been the standard of the industry since the 1950’s. It is a medium to high pressure rated, rubber hose, used with standard MIL-A-5070 reusable fittings. Fittings utilized can be Straight, 45 or 90 degree elbows, and orange type firesleeve is available as an option, when used in the engine compartment. These hose assemblies are generally lower in price than the Teflon equivalent in smaller, general aviation sizes. These are also the most common standard hose assemblies for most general aviation brake caliper hydraulic lines, and pedal to master cylinder lines.

    • This hose is a great hose for general aviation fuel and oil applications. It is lighter weight than the 111 series, and has a superior bend radius vs, the MIL-H-8794 hose. For instance, on a -6 hose, the MIL-H 8794 hose has 4” bend radius, and the -6 130 hose has a 2.5” bend radius. It also has a smaller envelope than other rubber hoses. If you are looking for a lighter weight hose, with a great bend radius, and have tight working areas, this is probably your best choice. Fittings are available in straight, 45 and 90 degree, and assemblies are made with special mandrels and tooling. Orange type firesleeve can be added to the hose assemblies for engine compartment applications.
